RECOMMENDED - Affordable with large screen. (like the one used is this course). The iPhone 6+ is recommend because of its size (larger screen) and hotspot capability (which allows you to use the phone as a mobile WiFi connection when traveling or when WiFi is not available). Wired headsets/external microphones can be plugged into the unit

iPad Pro

Larger screen with pencil (like the one used is this course) (Microsoft Surface is another option but not tested). The iPad Pro 2nd Generation like the iPhone 6 Plus (both used in this course) is an older model. Wired headsets/external microphones can be plugged into the unit. 

TIP: Newer iPhone's / iPads have Lightning jacks only and need additional audio adapters and can not be charged at the same time. (More in advance audio / video lessons).
