Believe or not, I have been incrementally working virtually for over 20 years. Way back then I was the Marketing Director of a large Banking and Insurance Corporation. I was always on the move between states and even working during vacation time. Today, that doesn't seem too unusual, but during that time it was not the norm.

In those early days it was very difficult and a slow process that required a great deal of patience.

During the last few decades I could see what was possible, but also understood it was a distant dream that could come true. The speed limitations and efficient ways to deliver reliable data along with having devices such as tablets, smartphones and personal computers with fast processors to handle the necessary flow of information just wasn't quite there yet.

Throughout the years that followed, I experimented with every piece of technology I could get my hands on and expanded my knowledge as well as my level of first hand experience developing a better virtual system. 

Slowly things were changing. Everything was getting smaller and faster. I knew it was only a matter of time.  

The iPhone was the first major leap into the stratosphere of where things were headed. 

June 2007 - Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone.

As soon as the latest device came out I got it and was using it everywhere I could!

If there was any kind of cell or wifi signal I was testing to see just what was possible.

As WiFi and cell service improved, they became a global commodity and were no longer just add-ons, but standard equipment. I saw the pieces finally coming together. 

Only in the last 3 years has technology caught up to my desires. I developed a plan and upgraded my system that would allow me to live out my dream of working from anywhere.
