We are happy to inform you that “Aldo's Restaurant” in Lake Forest has now new ownership. It opened on July 1st 2003 and the owners are Stefania Cocozza and Costantino De Angelis. The name of the restaurant is “Dolce Vita” in Italian means “Good life". Dolce Vita ristorante is an Italian family style Restaurant. The cuisine is genuine and portion are very generous. Dolce Vita offers warmth and hospitality; You can relax and enjoy lunch and dinner on the patio or inside surrounded by rustic Italian décor. Dolce Vita is a place where you will feel the true spirit of Italy. Dolce Vita offers a personal service and attention by the owners Stefania and Costantino. Dolce Vita's Italian menu includes delicious and authentic dishes like Antipasto della casa, a great combination of sautéed eggplant, bell peppers, zucchini, fresh mozzarella with sliced tomatoes, Italian cold cuts and bruschetta. For salads we offer a great variety from a spinach salad that has caramelized walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, bacon and a homemade balsamic dressing to a Mediterranea salad rich of olives, bell peppers, feta cheese cucumbers, red onions and tomatoes. We serve different pasta dishes and they are: Penne salmone in Vodka sauce, Conchiglie Primavera with sun dried tomatoes, green peas, black olive in Pinot Grigio white wine sauce and we have a great homemade lasagna. The entrees are simple and full of flavors some of the entrees are: chicken piccata, pollo Marsala, veal saltimbocca, ossobuco served with angel hair pasta and we always have fresh fish on our daily special menu.
